For Summer 2026, Saint Xavier Rowing offers 2 one-week camps downtown at the Louisville Community Boathouse / STX Rowing Boatyard.
June 8-12
June 15-19
This introductory camp is designed to give a broad overview of what rowing in high school is like. No previous rowing experience is necessary.
● Campers will get instruction on rowing terminology and equipment, what a competitive rowing season is like, and spend time out on the water in STX racing shells.
● Run by J. D. Bridges, Head Coach, Saint Xavier Rowing, with over twenty years of coaching experience, and staffed by STX varsity athletes and assistant coaches.
● Swimming ability is required; campers will also wear life jackets and receive safety briefings.
● Campers will receive a Tiger LTR camp T-shirt and water bottle.
$250; space is limited to 12 participants per session so sign up early.

Summer Racing
For Summer 2026, racing and training opportunities are offered only through Saint Xavier High School. If you are not a student at St. X, please contact the Head Coach for more information.
Summer schedule:
Monday - Thursday
7:30am - 10am
STX Boatyard
June 1 - July 14
Racing at USRowing Summer National Championships (RowFest) in Ann Arbor, MI July 11-14.
Participation is by invitation only. Athletes must be available for at least 5 of the 6 weeks of practice.
Athletes will race in multiple events over the course of the 4 days.
Cost: TBD, payable to Saint Xavier HS.
